Why Islamabad

Government, diplomatic and corporate buildings

Islamabad's building stock is shaped by government and diplomatic institutions concentrated in the Blue Area and the F- and G-sector office and residential blocks, alongside a corporate sector spread through E-7 and the sectors around the Islamabad Expressway. These buildings typically prioritise access control, CCTV and integrated security, with fire and life safety a close second given the number of institutional and multi-storey office buildings in the city.

Islamabad's industrial base, concentrated in the I-9 and I-10 sectors, and the corridor reaching into Rawalpindi and Rawalpindi Saddar, adds a different mix of demand: perimeter security, vehicle access and structured cabling for production and warehouse buildings. Resco's Islamabad office designs for both ends of that range from the same regional base, coordinating with the Karachi head office on larger multi-site programmes that also touch other cities.

Project delivery

How a Resco project runs in Islamabad

An Islamabad project follows the same lifecycle Resco uses across Pakistan, run from the Blue Area regional office, with Karachi involved on larger or multi-site work.

  1. Survey

A site survey in Islamabad or Rawalpindi identifies the systems needed, existing infrastructure and any integration with security, fire or BMS already on site.

  2. Design

Drawings, network schematics, wiring diagrams and functional descriptions are produced before procurement, coordinated with Karachi where needed.

  3. Install

Installation, commissioning and integration are carried out on site, with quality checks at each stage of the project.

  4. Support

Site-specific training is arranged for Islamabad installations, alongside optional ongoing maintenance and support.
