Intercom and paging tied into the rest of the building
An intercom system gives two-way audio, and often video, at a door, gate or reception point, so staff or residents can identify and speak to a visitor before opening. Resco fits intercom stations at entry points and links them to the access control system already on site, so a door can be released from the intercom panel itself once the caller is identified.
Paging adds IP network audio for general announcements across a building or campus, separate from the fire alarm system's emergency voice alarm function, which Resco covers as part of its fire and life safety work. A paging zone can cover a single floor, a whole building or several buildings on one site, depending on how the announcement needs to reach staff or visitors.
