BAMS — biometric attendance management software

BAMS is Resco's own Biometric Attendance Management System: one centralised attendance record across every branch, floor and factory gate, built to work with the Virdi terminals we supply and support across Pakistan.

What BAMS is

One attendance record, however many sites you run

Most attendance problems are not device problems. A terminal at a single office is straightforward; the difficulty starts when an organisation has dozens or thousands of locations, each enrolling its own staff, each producing its own file, and payroll having to reconcile them at the end of the month.

BAMS — Resco's Biometric Attendance Management System — was built for that situation. Attendance from every connected terminal reaches one central system, so HR and payroll work from a single set of records rather than chasing branches for spreadsheets.

It is the software behind some of our largest deployments, including Habib Bank Limited, where Resco runs biometric attendance across more than 2,250 branches alongside canteen management and access control, as well as National Foods, Samsons and Adamjee Insurance.

  • Centralised attendance across every connected site
  • Works with the Virdi (UNIONCOMMUNITY) terminals Resco supplies and supports
  • Payroll-ready reporting instead of per-branch spreadsheets
  • Deployed at national scale, and supported under maintenance agreements

What it does

Attendance management, end to end

The parts organisations actually ask for when they move off manual registers or per-site software.

Biometric enrolment

Fingerprint, face or card credentials captured at the terminal, tied to one identity per employee rather than one per site.

Centralised records

Attendance from every branch or gate collected into one system, so head office is not dependent on local files.

Payroll integration

Attendance data prepared for payroll, which removes the manual re-keying step where most errors appear.

Prevents proxy attendance

A biometric credential cannot be handed to a colleague, which is the usual reason organisations move away from cards alone.

Canteen and access together

The same credential can drive staff catering and door access, so one enrolment serves three systems.

Support and O&M

Resco maintains the system after handover, including device replacement and help with enrolment or reporting.

Where it fits

Where BAMS is deployed

BAMS runs at organisations whose attendance has to be consistent across many locations.

  • Habib Bank Limited (HBL) — biometric attendance across more than 2,250 branches nationwide
  • National Foods — attendance across corporate office, Port Qasim and Faisalabad sites
  • Samsons Group — centralised biometric attendance
  • Adamjee Insurance — biometric attendance management across 18 locations in Pakistan
  • Banks, factories, hospitals and corporate groups running multi-site shifts
  • Organisations whose payroll currently depends on per-site attendance files

Devices

Built on Virdi biometric terminals

Resco is the authorised Virdi (UNIONCOMMUNITY) distributor in Pakistan, so the software, the terminals and the support come from one supplier.

How a rollout works

From pilot to national deployment

The same sequence whether it is one office or two thousand branches.

  1. Assess

We review site count, network links, shift rules and how payroll expects to receive the data.

  2. Pilot

A small group of sites is enrolled and run live, so reporting and exceptions are proven before scale.

  3. Roll out

Devices and enrolment are scheduled site by site around operating hours, without interrupting work.

  4. Support

Ongoing maintenance covers devices, spares and help with reports, from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.

Can’t find your answer? Ask our team

Biometric Attendance Management System. It is Resco's own attendance software, used with the biometric terminals we supply, and designed for organisations that need one attendance record across many sites rather than separate software at each location.

Attendance spread across too many sites?
